Arthur Avalon,” he translated and commented upon numerous
Tantric books, introducing many concepts, such as
kundalini, to the West. Some of his famous books include
Tantra of the Great Liberation, Shakti and Shakta, Principles of Tantra, and
Hymns to the Goddess and Hymn to Kali.
