A Fourfold Process of Healing and Establishing Well-Being
As we seek to heal and establish greater well-being in our lives, we make four primary efforts:
- We explore what we think and believe, consciously and subconsciously, and challenge our thoughts and beliefs that are not fact-oriented and accurate and that hinder our well-being. This is weeding the inner garden.
- We affirm in their place fact-oriented and accurate thoughts that foster our well-being. This is planting new beliefs.
- We work to stop or decrease the actions in our lives that hinder our well-being.
- We strive to increase the amount we act in our lives in support of our wellbeing. This includes engaging in actions to help us healthfully process emotions and sensations, like mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation exercises, as well as connecting with our inner guidance.
