The process of enfleurage uses the natural aroma of an herb or flower to infuse oils with its scent over time. This technique can be used to transform plain, unscented candles, giving them a soft fragrance that is free of synthetic perfumes. You will need:

• Aromatic dried botanicals (such as lavender, jasmine, chamomile, cedar, and sage)
• A plastic container with a lid (just big enough to hold your candle surrounded by herbs)
• A plain, unscented candle

Scoop a generous layer of dried botanicals into your plastic container. Place your candle on top of this layer, and cover the candle with more dried botanicals. The candle should be completely surrounded by herbs. Leave your candle to be infused for one to three lunar cycles, gently mixing the dried botanicals from time to time. You may choose to draw sigils on the container or the candle itself for added magical infusion.
