A Creative Playground Ritual
Color of the day: Orange Incense of the day: Poplar Incense of the day: Poplar Spring is a time when we feel restless. We want to do something, but we're not sure what. If we are in a rut, we get impatient. We want a way out, but we don't know how to get there. Today, then, is the perfect day to throw caution to the wind and involve yourself in a creative playground. Take large sheets of paper, magazines, glue, glitter, scraps of fabric-anything that you like. Paint, draw, write stories, and create collages. Don't sit and plan it, just let it all flow. Afterward, look back at your creations. Ask yourself what patterns you see? Do you see images of your wishes for the future? What images repeat? What represents pain and parts of your life which need to be released? Create a release ceremony to free yourself of anything that holds you back. When you have released the images, remove them from your property. |
