This day has also been identified as "the day of reckoning," making it a favorable time to summon energy for knowledge, wisdom, and self-improvement. With a purple candle burning, write down on a piece of paper one thing you wish to improve about yourself. It should be something simple like: By the end of five or six weeks, I will improve my well-being by drinking two liters of water per day and much less coffee. Make it specific, achievable, and measurable, and remember to include a time frame. Put your note away. Make a diary note to retrieve it by the end of your nominated time frame, or if that won't work for you ask a friend to send it to you via mail or e-mail. Remember: This is a contract with yourself, and should be treated seriously as an important and effective tool for growth and self-empowerment. |
