To know, to will, to dare, to be silent are the four corners of the Witch's pyramid. Fire is the element that summons will and summer is its corresponding season. A fire spell is especially fortuitous now, as this is the feast day of Vesta, the hearth flame. To begin this spell you need to spend time reflecting on what you wish to manifest. Ask yourself what you need to do in the physical world to accomplish your aim. When you feel certain of what you need to do, build a sacred fire. Give an offering to the spirits of fire. Any of the following will do: allspice, basil, clove, dill, ginger, or frankincense. When the offering is burnt away, say:

Fiery spirits of the south lands, burn away my lazy ways.
Light my will with your sure flames.

Visualize the fire's flames burning away your excuses and lack of energy. Then visualize the flames lighting the fire in your belly that won't allow you to quit until you've achieved your aims. Thank the fire spirits for their aid.
