Today is Friday, the day dedicated to the goddess of love. This calls for a time to invoke the Mesopotamian love goddess Inanna for passion, courage, and confidence. Inanna is also known as the queen of heaven and goddess of war and fertility. Prepare an altar to honor Inanna with her fertility symbol of dates. The eight-pointed star is also one of her symbols. Draw an eight-pointed star on a piece of paper or cardboard and place the dates at the center. Sit at your altar, eat one of the dates, and imagine your life blessed with the energy of Inanna, filling you with confidence and courage to attract positive outcomes and passion in your life. As you eat, say these words:

Goddess Inanna,
As I eat your sacred fruit of dates
From your symbol of radiant light,
I ask for your blessings for confidence
On this Friday night.
