Bay Leaf Protection Amulet
Color of the day: Red Incense of the day: Frankincense Incense of the day: Frankincense A sprig of fresh bay may be hung in any room or placed under a bed for an extra boost to home protection. But a simple dried bay leaf may also be used as an amulet against all destructive forces. Leave a bay leaf on a windowsill for an hour or so early in the morning to soak up the energy of daybreak. Once you have finished the spell below, wear or carry the leaf with you throughout the day. Holding it at your forehead with both hands, say: Leaf of bay filled with light Of troubles and dangers, I have foresight. Holding it to your heart, say: Shield of bay, cover me Safe and protected may I be. Holding at the base of your spine, say: Tree of bay, make me strong Guide my steps that I will not go wrong. |
