They can also provide an indicator of negative energy: if your plants die suddenly and without apparent cause, it may indicate harmful influences in the vicinity. Even a window box or a few plants on a windowsill can provide both inspiration and protection. If you aren't used to gardening, start with easy plants. Marigolds are excellent for protection, their scent tends to keep away harmful insects, and their orange and yellow blossoms are very cheerful. Get a packet of seeds and dirt or potting soil. Put the dirt in a pot, add the seeds, and cover with dirt as indicated on the seed packet. Then, bless a container of water, saying, "I bless this water for beauty and strength," and use it to water the seeds. |
