Wednesday is Mercury's day, the Roman messenger god. Use this spell today to clear away mixed messages in your communication. Ask the help of the four winds to clarify your words and expressions and improve your listening skills. Face each direction and blow on a feather as you chant:
Winds of the East, carry my words
Winds of the South, let them be clear
Winds of the West, let them be true
Winds of the North, may I think first
Winds of the East, help me to hear
Winds of the South, may I listen with care
Winds of the West, help me respond
Winds of the North, let me know when to speak
Visualize being understood and understanding others. Keep the feather in a place where you can see it, remembering that words say a great deal about your character and that listening is a vital part of communication.
