Protection Magic for Your Pets

If a stong bond is built between owners and their pet companions, their energies are open to each other in perfect love and perfect trust. Because animals have fewer inhibitions and judgments than their human companions, their spirits are naturally open and receptive to subtle forces. When making prayers or spells designed to influence your pet (such as ti give them healing, protection, or longevity), you should burn a corresponding elemental candle. If your pet is terrestrial, burn a brown candle; if water-bound, burn blue; if winged, burn yellow; and if amphibian, burn red. While burning the candle, focus on its light and pray to any spirits, deities, or forces you wish.
When the candle has burned down, put the stub and any assiciated spell or prayer items in a drawsting bag and hang it up in your home.
