St. Mark's Dream Weaver Ritual

Color of the day:  Black
Incense of the day:  Ginger

Historically, unmarried women in Britain would perform a ritual on this day to dream of their future mate. This tradition-inspired ritual will induce you to make contact-via your dreams-with your truest love in this lifetime. This won't be "just" a dream, but an actual date, albeit on the astral plane. Unlike the St. Mark customs of yore, you need not be single to perform this ritual. After all, even happy couples can benefit from a bit of dream-time romance (though there is no guarantee about who, exactly, you will see).

After nightfall, invoke St. Mark's assistance. Bake a cake without vocalizing a single noise the entire time. Silently empower the batter with your intention to connect with your beloved in the astral plane. While it's cooling, get ready for bed. At midnight, eat a piece of cake. Then, immediately approach your bed, get into it backwards, and call it a night.
