Color of the day: Orange Incense of the day: Almond Be aware of those people with whom you work, socialize, or attend classes. This is a good basis to start building a friendship because you already know there is a common interest. Plan an event! It can be as simple as suggesting a group of people you know go out to dinner together, or go to a movie. It doesn't take a great deal of effort to be a "social director" for any group, just the willingness to make suggestions and then follow through. Starting to bring people together is easier than one may think. As you get to know people better, you can then plan to invite someone to your home for a dinner, or an informal "order in" night. The important thing is to put your best foot forward and by your actions, give people a reason to befriend you. |
