This is the feast day of Jupiter Stator, a specific aspect of Jupiter who aids warriors in holding their ground in the face of impossible odds. Are the odds against you? Then, today is your day! In Rome warriors wore red cloaks, so put on some red, go outside and pick up a rock. Visualize the situation that has you overwhelmed. Fill the rock with all of your negative feelings regarding the situation. When you are finished, state the following:

Jupiter Stator, a warrior I stand,

The odds are against me, my fears in my hand,

Like Romulus, I cast what's against me away

Help me stand my ground and then win the day!

Let out a warrior howl, and chuck the stone as far away from you as you can. Then turn away and sit down. Meditate on Jupiter Stator's inspiration to help you to stand your ground.
