Incense of the day:  Bay laurel

Feeling uncertain of where to turn in next metaphysical studies is common. This can lead to discouragement and even laziness. I know spiritual seekers who have felt either too inept or too uneducated to cultivate the self-motivation required in spiritual living, and who, instead, choose to depend on in-the-flesh teachers, priests, or priestesses to point the way. This mindset can be disempowering. If you feel uncertain, repeat this chant on a regular basis:

"I am the magic; my spirit is the purpose; the widsom of the world is at my fingertips at all times."

Challenge yourself to spend time at the library, bookstore, or reliable online reference websites, and study concepts that have to do with religion, philosophy, human culture, and world history.
Practice daily, and you will begin to discover your callings and will feel a greater sense of wisdom and personal empowerment.
