Create a Home Guardian

Ruled by Saturn, Saturday is a good day for protection magic. There is an old saying that "home is where the heart is." That is certainly something worth protecting!
Our homes are a sacred sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the world outside. You can create and train your own home guardian to serve as protector of your home.
Find a statue of a protective creature such as a gargoyle, dragon, or Asian Fu Dog. Anoint the statue's third eye, and walk with the statue around your entire home and even around your property. Explain to the guardian as you do so that this is its domain to protect and what you wish for it to do. When you are finished, place the guardian near the main entryway to your home, either on the inside facing the entryway or outside directly next to the main entryway. Feed your guardian periodically with apprpriate offerings.
