Blessing of the Seeds

In this world of increasingly geo-manufactured Frankenseeds, every one of us magickal types should be growing some of our own food and herbs, even if it's a single plant in a single pot. Every little bit helps, and everything you grow will make you happier and healthier.
Get a jump-start on the upcoming planting season by selecting and blessing your seeds. Use the Web to order several seed catalogs, and enjoy poring through them to make your selections.
Once your seed packets arrive, carry out the following ritual. First carry the packets into your yeard and set them on the earth, incanting:

"May the bounteous Mother Earth nurture these seeds that they may take root!

Hold the seeds skyward, facing the sun, and incant:

"May Father Sun's energies raise these seeds to brilliant heights!"

Then place the packets on your altar to charge with energy until planting time.
