One week to go before we celebrate Samhain. Many choose this time of year to do seasonal house cleaning. Make the windows sparkle, drive the dust from the corners, change the linens, and unpack the festive fall decorations. Now is a perfect time to cleanse your home with this easy ritual.
Open every window of the house. Light a cone or stick of sage incense, or a sage votive candle, in a container you can safely carry. Walk into every room of your home; pause with one step in and raise the container slightly, saying:

"Out with stale and in with fresh,
This sage my home will cleanse and
bless.
The next few months bring holidays
high,
Bring all my loved ones safely nigh."
