Freshen Your Nest Spell

Incense of the day:  Myrrh
 
Now, as birds begin to look for nesting sites, take time to freshen up your own nest with this spell. You'll need a couple of new throw pillows, a new African violet, and a new violet-colored candle. Sit on your new pillows before your altar. Light the candle and place the plant before it. Meditate on your home. Gaze at the plant and feel it releasing protection and spirituality.
Now say:

"Divine Power, thank you for this
place.
With this spell,
I protect my living space."

Let the candle burn down. Arrange the pillows wherever you want, and tend lovingly to your African violet. Add any other decorative accents at this time. Let your fresh new home décor remind you of this spell. Now your nest is ready for the coming season of light.
