Crown Yourself with Glory

Incense of the day:  Orchid
 
This spell aids success at work, at home, and in other parts of life.

You will need:

A 6 × 6-inch piece of golden fabric
A golden charm of a crown
A nugget of amber resin (about pea size)
A cat's-eye stone (pea size or larger)
High John the Conqueror root (about half an inch of whole root or a pinch of ground)
A pinch of deer's tongue leaves
A pinch of five finger grass
A red ribbon

First lay out the fabric with the charm in the center. Add the amber resin, saying: "May I have the soul of a tiger in pursuing my goals."

Add the cat's-eye stone, saying:

"May everyone look on me with the eyes of a friend."

Add the High John the Conqueror root, saying:

"May I command power."

Add the deer's tongue leaves, saying:

"May I speak convincingly."

Add the five finger grass, saying:

"May I succeed in all my endeavors."

Hold the bundle closed, saying:

"So I claim my power; everything I do is crowned in glory."

Remove the crown to carry with you. Tie the cloth around the remaining items with a red ribbon, and keep it in a safe place.
