In colonial America, quilts were made to mark life's milestones-births, weddings, and so on. To charge a quilt with a positive aura, the quilter may weave special blessings into it for a long life or for happiness. Use the following spell to enhance your various quilting or craft projects. Assemble your materials, and say: "Spirits white, spirits red, bless this needle and this thread. With the power of positive magic, bless each piece of fabric." As you quilt, think of your desire. This spell is powerful because the act of stitching makes you concentrate. When your sewing project is done, you not only have something beautiful, but you also have an heirloom blessed with positive energy.
