Holey Pretection

I believe that we all need a little boost of self-confidence, self-esteem, and courage at times. Sometimes all that's necessary to provide that boost is a simple, meaningful object that you can carry with you.

Finding a holey stone (a stone containing naturally created holes) has long been considered lucky, but it can also be used for protection. You'll need to find a place where you can look for your own holey stone. Good spots include stream beds, places that sell sand and gravel, or even playgrounds with gravel surfaces.

Once you've found your holey stone, cleanse it, bless it, and string it on a small chain to wear around your neck on days when you need a little help finding your courage and dealing with your fears.
