LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Invisibility Spell

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Almond

On this day in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, five more people were hanged as witches: George Burroughs, George Jacobs, Martha Carrier, John Proctor, and John Willard. We're fortunate to be living in a time and place where we are more free to practice our faith, though it may not always be tolerated by all. If you ever feel vulnerable about your beliefs, here's something that might help to make you more invisible.

This spell won't make you disappear, but it will make you less noticeable. Take a deep breath, and as you do, imagine your aura getting smaller and smaller and smaller, until it's just hugging your body. Exhale slowly and repeat these words:

"Keep me strong, keep me wise,
Shield me from unwelcome eyes."

While this spell will not fix everything, it will help you to pass less noticeably among people who don't share your beliefs and yet still be recognizable to those who do.
