Spirit Houses Spell

Invite the magical beings of the earth and air into your life by placing a spirit house in a protected part of your garden or near a window inside your home. Paint and decorate a small wooden birdhouse with runes, flowers, stars, spirals, geometrical figures, or whatever you like. Sprinkle dried herbs inside, and hang colorful ribbons or a garland of flowers from the perch. Let the spirits know their new home is ready by waving a stick of burning incense over the roof and around the sides. Make sure a few whiffs of the fragrant smoke enter the spirit house.
