POSTED UNDER Love, Yule

Peace and Love Spell

Color of the day:  Rose
Incense of the day:  Rose

December 18 marks the end of Hanukkah, and with Yule and Christmas on the way, it’s the perfect day to celebrate our bonds and similarities as faith communities and human beings. For this spell, you’ll need five candles of any color in holders. As you light each candle, say one of the following lines and reflect on the connections and promise we have as human beings.

For the bonds we share as humans.
For the gods both known
and unknown.
For the seasons we all share together.
For the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
For the love we should all
share with one another.

After the candles are all lit, take a deep breath and reflect on the things we have in common with each other instead of our differences. Resolve to do what you can to make the world a better place and to celebrate our similarities. Extinguish the candles. Blessed be.
