A Cup of Wellness

Color of the day:  Gold
Incense of the day:  Hyacinth

Winter is cold and flu season, a nd you can add magical and physiological support with this spellcrafted tea.

In your favorite cup or mug, grate some fresh ginger (or use ¼ teaspoon powdered ginger) and squeeze in one tablespoon lemon juice and a bit of freshly grated lemon peel. Ginger is known magically for warming and healing, while lemon has strong solar connections and is associated with health and longevity; both ginger and lemon are full of antioxidants, and lemon is also packed with vitamin C. Add some honey to sweeten the tea and to imbue it with healing vitality and an antiviral kick.

Fill the mug with near-boiling water and stir sunwise (clockwise) for extra energy. Sip slowly while it is hot, visualizing the tea fighting off viral invaders. Bonus: add a dram of whiskey (or your favorite spirit) for an even deeper soul-warming effect. Repeat as needed.
