Color of the day: White Incense of the day: Myrrh In the Northern Hemisphere, late June is filled with light, warmth, and abundance. Strawberries ripen invitingly. My body softens to the sun, the earth, the water, and the warm air. With the sun in Cancer, the sign of the sacred mother, this is a good time to practice sacred embodiment. Know your length. Stand with your feet hip-distance apart. Breathe up, lengthening your spine and creating space between the vertebrae. Exhale down into the earth and feel grounded. Know your width. Breathe widely, feeling the width of your collarbones, rib cage, belly, and hips. Expand sideways in space. And know your depth. Within you, cultivate your passion and power. Invite who you love, what you cherish, what stirs and moves you, and what you are passionate about to bloom within you. Feel the length, width, and depth of your body. As you inhabit your body consciously and fully, claim it and hold it as your own sacred space. |
