A Dreaming Bath

Color of the day:  Green
Incense of the day:  Mulberry

Here is a soaking bath to aid with divinatory dreams. You will need:

  • 3 cups milk (can use milk alternatives like almond or oat milk)
  • 1 pearl, piece of coral, amethyst crystal, and/or sapphire (optional)
  • 3 passionflowers (Passiflora incarnata), dried or fresh
  • Purple or blue carnation flower petals from 7 blooms, dried or fresh
  • A blue or purple candle, any kind, in a holder (optional)

Fill your bathtub with water to your desired temperature. Add the milk to the water. Place any of the stones you have around the rim of the tub. Add the passionflowers and carnation flower petals. Sit back and relax. I like a dark bathroom for this ritual. For me, the visions will come without even being asleep. If you don't want to soak in complete darkness, light a blue or purple candle. Soak for as long as you want, then dry off and immediately go to sleep. Be sure to extinguish the candle when done.
