Here is a protection amulet that harnesses the fiery protection of Mars. Create your amulet after the Moon moves into Aries at 2:37 pm EDT. You will need:

• A red taper candle in a holder
• Matches or lighter
• 3 thorns: honey locust thorns (Gleditsia triacanthos) or thorns from roses, pear trees, cacti, hawthorn, or any others you might have available
• Wax paper
• A small cloth bag with a drawstring top, red or blue
• Cinnamon essential oil

Light your candle. Gather your three thorns together on a piece of wax paper, with the points facing the same direction. Carefully drip wax from the candle onto the thorns until they are completely covered. While dripping, repeat:
