Color of the day: Red Incense of the day: Ginger In some parts of Northern Europe (mainly Sweden, Finland, and Norway), this is the day when holiday decorations should be put away. In Norway this day is called Tyvendedagen, which means "Twentieth Day," as in the 20th day after Christmas. It's known by other names as well, but it's basically a day to rid the home of all holiday associations, if you haven't already done so. If you have, then this is also a spell for general cleansing As you clean and tidy up your living space, visualize the removal of the past, of any negativity, and a fresh, new energy filling your home. Accompany your cleaning with smudging if you wish. Chant as you clean: Put away last year, All is clean and clear. |
