The rites of spring will soon be upon us and now is the perfect time to gather the seeds, bulbs, corms, and dormant rhizomes you will be working with to prepare them for planting. This blessing is an energetic boost we can provide for the seeds, encouraging healthy germination and letting them know they will be sown with intention and care. All you need are the seeds (or bulbs, etc.) that you will be planting in the weeks to come and a few moments where you are free to focus.

Hold the seeds in your passive hand and outline a triangle over them with your dominant hand. As you do this, visualize green fire pouring from your dominant hand to create a triangle of green flame. Take a deep breath, and as you exhale, push the green flame triangle into the seeds, visualizing them absorbing the energy. Say:

Green fire, the witches’ flame, bless these seeds in your name!
