1.  Sufi teachings center on the social and psychological relevance of certain human ideas. Practitioners of Sufism bring their experiences into operation with the culture, the country, the climate in which they are living. Sufism is concerned with leading by example and not preaching.

2.  called tasawwuf in Arabic, it is a mystical, psycho-spiritual aspect of Islam. There are many different sects or orders of Sufism with varying practices.
