Advertisement for the 1909 Daily Planetary Guide

This was the fourth annual edition and set a path for modern astrology by making it possible to put information into the reader’s hands rather than merely telling him “this is a really bad day.” In the case of the unscrupulous counselor (whether writing or in person), this was the opportunity to sell the client a wonderful charm blessed by saints, etc. to offset the problem.

Llewellyn George pioneered “self-empowerment” through easily understood information and knowledge, and the “Daily Planetary Guide” – as we now call it – continues that tradition in today’s daily planner with each day listing the important Solar, Lunar and Planetary positions and aspects along with full guidance on how to use the information to take advantage of the positive energies in relation to your needs, and to avoid the negative ones. In addition the “Daily Planetary Guide” includes 52 weekly forecasts reflecting the general astrological influences of the week.
