Spell: Honey Bee, Empower Me

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Did you know that honey doesn't spoil or rot? It has a long history of usage in natural medicine, and quite rightly, too. Honey is said to improve the mood, lift the spirits, ease the stomach, soothe the skin, and more. For this honey spell, you'll need a jar of local natural honey and a wooden or bamboo spoon (not metal or plastic). Put the jar of honey in a southfacing windowsill at noon. As the sun sets, take a spoonful of the honey and raise it to the four directions. Then lick the honey off the spoon, saying:

With taste of one, the spell's begun.
With taste of two, I make things new.
With taste of three, I empower me.
With taste of four, I open doors.
With taste of five, I'm fully alive.

Wash the spoon and store the honey in a cool, dark place until the next time you need a boost of energy.
