Spell: Connecting with Your Patron Deity

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

When practitioners of the Craft are ready to take their spiritual practices further, they will seek out a patron deity to work more closely with. Though not a necessity, this can help you focus your practice and spellwork. When beginning your exploration, it can be helpful to identify several gods and goddesses that you have an affinity for. Sit in a quiet space and clear your mind. Safely light a candle or incense if that helps you focus. Take a deep breath and relax, pulling into your mind the different deities. As you do so, make a note of any who seem especially vibrant or who demand your attention. Write down any deity who makes their presence known to you and the way they do so. Is there a song you are hearing in your head or a scent that lingers in the air? These are all signs that your patron is making themselves known.
