Your place looks a mess, and you don't know where to start in cleaning up. Take a deck of ordinary playing cards and stand in the middle of your living room or bedroom-wherever you spend the most time. Toss the deck of cards in the air and let them fall where they will. Pick them up, and as you do, put them in order-ace, two, three, and so on up to the king, each suit one by one (the order of suits is up to you). The act of arranging something neatly will work as sympathetic magic to help you pick up and arrange the rest of the room. Start your tidying up immediately after picking up the cards.
