Spell: Lakshmi Prosperity Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Carnation

A prosperity ritual honoring the Hindu goddess Lakshmi is an appropriate seasonal ritual. To do this, obtain an image of her-this may include pictures, statues, or jewelry-and place it on your altar with red candles, red flowers, and coins. Offer her some prosperity or other Indian incense. Listen to the recording "Lady of Prosperity" by Joni Abbatecola or any other Hindu devotional recording. Close your eyes, and visualize yourself floating on the river in a boat made of a giant red lotus. Lakshmi is with you. She wears a red-beaded sari edged in gold. Where will she take you? What gift will you give her, and what wisdom will she impart to you? Let your imagination flow, listen to her words, and bask in her abundance.
