Incense of the day: Lilac With the Moon in Gemini, now is a good time to do some bird magic. First choose a bird-such as a swallow, hawk, robin, cardinal, and so on-that you have always liked. Then search out books and study the bird's characteristics, its features, and its habits. If you can, find pictures or a feather of this bird and make a special altar devoted to it. Light some yellow or light-blue candles, and sit in simple meditation while visualizing images of the bird-how it moves, flies, eats, and so on. Invite the bird into your heart.
