Spell: Bird Banishing Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Turquoise
Incense of the day: Jasmine

Do you have a problem with birds in your garden? This spell shoos them away. Collect an assortment of sparkly bird-banishers. Garden stores sell tinsel streamers, pinwheels, mirrored mobiles, and so forth, or you can use aluminum pie plates. Hang them all around your garden, and say:

Fairies wild, fairies free,
Lend your ears to me.
Come and see what I have done,
See the sparkle of the sun!
Come to visit and to stay. Come to play.

Fairies love flashy things. Plus, their mischievous nature inclines them to tease anything that moves. Pesky birds will desert your garden in search of quieter feeding grounds.
