LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: A New Year’s Knot Spell Time

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

It has no beginning; it
has no ending. At New Year's,
we stand at the threshold and once
again face another wheel of the year.
For this spell, you'll need a piece of
red yarn about three feet long. Red
represents the life force and the yarn
symbolizes the endless cord of time.
Think of one wish you want to come
into your life this year. Begin tying
four knots in the yarn, working from
left to right and spaced about equally.
When done, open your front door
while holding the yarn in your hands.
Feel each knot while thinking of
your wish, and say: "I hope. I wish.
I believe. I receive." Tie the ends of
the yarn together to represent the
Wheel of the Year. Keep the yarn on
your altar, and reflect on your wish
occasionally.
