Spell: Prayers to Ganesha

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

One of the cornerstone practices of Hinduism is the repetition of mantras, Sanskrit prayers. It is believed that the consistency of the repetition allows the true power of the mantra to unfold. Typically a mantra is chanted 108 times over a forty-day period to allow the magic to manifest in one's life. It's almost like repeating a spell over and over again, allowing its energy to build.

Start a practice of chanting to Ganesha today. Ganesha is the elephant-headed god of the Hindu tradition that removes obstacles, grants protection, and bestows blessings. His mantra is "Om Ganapatayea Namaha." Om is the vibration of the universe, containing all potentials and possibilities. Ganapatayea is another name for Ganesha. Namaha literally means, "I bow to you." When we chant this prayer, we surrender to the God and Goddess and allow for the obstacles blocking our path to be removed.

May your day be blessed.
