Spell: A Healing Love Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today marks the Adonia ritual in ancient Greece commemorating the death of Aphrodite's lover, Adonis. We can heal our heart of a romantic relationship through magic, whether it ended with death or simply because it was not reciprocal. This is especially good to heal a crush. Gather two white candles, a toothpick, scissors, and pink string. In your ritual space, cleanse your candle with your breath and charge a candle to represent you and the other to represent your former lover. With the toothpick, carve your name on one and your former lover's name on another. Light them. Tie the string around the candles and say:
This is the love I knew.
Cut the string, imagining the connection between the two of you becoming weak. Affirm:
May my heart be full of love.
May your heart be full of love.
I am healed and whole.

May the love we had shared
spiral out
And bless all the worlds.
So mote it be.
Bury the candles in opposite directions.
