| Here's a use for those old lead fishing weights. Don't use them for fishing-they're toxic to wildlife, but useful for a bit of magic!
Lead can silence negative thoughts in your mind that hold you back, and banish them for good. Take a black string about a foot long; I like embroidery floss. Then take two lead fishing weights, and tie one on each end of the string. Now, whatever negative thoughts cross your mind, say them out loud one by one. As you say each thought, tie a knot in the string. The knots trap your words, and the lead on each end of the string silences them. When you've finished, put the knotted cord in a dark-colored bottle until those thoughts are long forgotten. At a later date, burn the knotted cord and reuse the lead weights to repeat this spell whenever you wish. |
