| To boost an expected bonus or raise, do the following. First, estimate the expected amount and double it. For instance, if you expect a $500 bonus, think $1000. Buy one green tapered candle for each $100 beyond your original estimate. Place the candles in candleholders all in a row on a long table. With a nail or sharp object, scratch "$100" into the side of each candle. Place a crisp new $1 bill in front of each candle. In the margin of each bill write in tiny letters in green ink "x 100". This will transform each $1 bill into a magical $100 bill. Burn the candles for one hour per day for seven days. |
