POSTED UNDER Home, Moon

Spell: Home Protection

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In the tradition of Hoodoo, railroad spikes are used to nail down your property. The intention is to nail down what belongs to you and keep it safe from would-be thieves or trespassers. Use the waxing moon to increase the protective energy around your home.

For this spell, you will need:
* A railroad spike
* Olive oil or protective oil
* A flowerpot
* Potting soil
* A plant
* A white candle

Anoint your candle and railroad spike with your protective oil. Fill your pot with soil.

Add your plant to the pot. Light your candle and carefully pass the railroad spike through the flame. Bury the spike vertically in the pot. As the candle burns, chant these words:

"Railroad spike, iron strong, protect my home all year long."

Allow the candle to completely burn out, then place your protective potted plant in a conspicuous space outside your home.
