POSTED UNDER Moon, Water

Spell: Sail Away

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Traditionally this day is celebrated as Columbus Day. However, in recent times, indigenous people have become increasingly disenchanted with this designation celebrating the voyage of Columbus.

With respect to the highly charged emotions surrounding this day, we can use the power of the waning moon to sail away to new horizons, letting go of things that no longer serve us.

For this spell, you will need:
* A four-inch blue candle in a holder
* A small dish filled with water
* Blue glitter
* Eight of Cups tarot card

Place the candle and holder in the dish filled with water. Sprinkle blue glitter over your candle and the water. Place the Eight of Cups tarot card behind the candle.

Quiet your mind, light the candle, and concentrate on the tarot card. Visualize yourself sailing away. As the flame burns down, feel the relief of heading toward a new beginning.
