| Even when we are too busy to perform a full-fledged ritual, we can still start off our morning with some magic. To imprint a desire into the unfolding pattern of the day, this technique can be effective.
Upon waking, form an idea of how you would like the day to proceed, and once the image and feeling are strong, reach your dominant hand up, tracing a pentagram in the air above you and visualizing a bright electric-blue energy. Start at the top point, moving down to the bottomleft point, then the upper right, left, lower right, and finally back to the top, completing the pentagram. Allow the power to linger in the air for a moment, then visualize the pentagram descend, bathing you in this energy so that the magic is absorbed into your being. To seal the spell, say: "Charged with power to light my way, magic bless me throughout this day." |
