LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Twin Towers Talisman Altar

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Just about everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing on September 11, 2001. Honor the memory of the events of that fateful day with this talisman altar.

You will need three safety pins and twenty silver seed beads (with holes big enough so they can be threaded onto the pins). The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were tall and silvery; this talisman will mimic them in looks. Open the first safety pin and thread ten silver beads on the open needle as you recite these words:

Always remember, never forget,
The memory in my mind is set.

Repeat the process with the second safety pin. If you have some, light a stick of myrrh incense (to honor those who passed and their families) and dragon’s blood incense (to banish negativity), and pass the safety pins through the smoke. Thread the two pins onto the needle of the last safety pin. Wear this portable altar in honor of this solemn day.
