Spell: A Blue Christmas Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

For many people, the holiday season isn’t cheery or bright. For some, it’s a blue and sad time. Loneliness, grief, and joblessness are more deeply felt now. This spell will help you find those in need and make the season more bearable for them.

First sit at your altar and safely light a red candle. Red is the color of the life force. Visualize the candle flame spreading out and touching those in need with its warmth. Ask the Divine to guide you to the right person or place that will connect you with those in need. Then safely snuff out your candle and begin your search for ways to help. You could start at your county department of job and family services. They have lists of items needed by their clients, or maybe they need volunteers to wrap gifts, etc. Local schools will know of children in need, too. Keep visualizing your kindness spreading to help others.
