Spell: Solar Candle Blessing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

With the sun’s energy nearly at its peak today, it’s a great time to charge and bless your candles. This spell infuses your candles with fierce solar power, which increases that aspect of any magic they’re used in. It can be done outside in full sunlight or with sunlight coming through a window or a skylight. You will need some candles, matches, and a chime candle (red, orange, or yellow).

Place the candles on their sides in the sunshine. Light a match. Say:

Sun, Great Star, I thank you for your

light and your warmth. I ask for

your blessing upon these candles.

Light the chime candle, and allow the wax to drip onto the other candles. After a few minutes, rotate the charging candles. Continue to drip wax onto the charging candles while repeating the spell. If the candles start to melt, move them to shade. When you’re done, give thanks to the sun and extinguish the chime candle
